How the draw works.
The generator uses the same draw engine as Rallio’s mixers. Round by round it avoids repeat partners first, then repeat opponents, and shares the sit-outs evenly when the numbers don’t divide by four. With eight players on two courts, nobody partners the same person twice in seven rounds.
Singles is a classic round robin: everyone plays everyone once before anyone plays the same person twice, and when there are more games than courts the sit-outs are shared. The free tool runs up to three courts and 16 players; Rallio runs every court you have.
Questions
Everyone plays a short game in each round with a different partner against different opponents. Over the evening each player partners as many others as the numbers allow, so nobody spends the night with the same partner.
