How the draw works.
Players are drawn at random into a bracket of 2, 4, 8 or 16 places. When the numbers don’t fill it, the spare places become byes, spread across the draw the same way as in Rallio’s competitions, so no two byes meet each other.
Questions
A knockout needs 2, 4, 8 or 16 places. With, say, 12 players the four spare places become byes, so four players go straight through to round two. The draw is random, and you can reshuffle it as often as you like.
Running the club championships?
Rallio runs the whole competition: players enter from a link, arrange and score their own matches, and finals day goes up on the clubhouse TV.
